Candle Lamp Company was purchased by Westar Capital, Costa Mesa, CA, in October of 2006. In the process of this purchase it became obvious that we needed to establish a formal Human Resource function in the organization.
We contracted with Joan Dzuro’s firm, Dzuro and Associates, in January 2007 to assist us in establishing a Human Resources department, evaluating our staff, hiring a HR Manager, and coaching our management team to improve their skills.
These tasks have been accomplished and we are now expanding our coaching of our management team even further through 2008.
I would recommend Joan’s firm to any company that needs assistance in Human Resource functions.

At Neovia, we understand that companies are becoming increasingly frustrated and dissatisfied with the “broken healthcare system” and the brokers/consultants who administer it. We’re working hard to change all that. Our core values of integrity, individual responsibility and servant leadership drive us to find solutions to the benefits issues faced by our clients and their employees and families.
Our motto is “care above all else.” We’ve developed a truly unique Client Care Advocacy model that puts the care back into healthcare system by providing a more responsive, effective and humane way to handle employee benefits.
For example, we’re replacing the industry norm of tedious phone loops with a direct line to a single point of contact for human resources (HR) professionals and for employees and their families. They no longer have to waste valuable time, money and effort managing employee benefits. Our Client Care Advocates and the rest of our team do it for them. As a result, the system works better for everyone.
